Due to projected temperatures and extreme heat during the scheduled pregame ceremonies, Granbury ISD Athletics is moving Senior Night to Friday, September 22 at home against Killeen High School. The previous date was scheduled for next Friday, August 25. Senior Night festivities take place before the 7 p.m. kickoff at Pirate Stadium.
In addition to Pirate Football seniors, Granbury ISD will recognize seniors from Cheer, Dance, Athletic Trainers, MCJROTC and Student Council. Band’s Senior Night is at the end of the season.
Pirate Football has its final home scrimmage vs. Everman on Friday, August 18 at 9 p.m. 9th Grade Purple and JV will scrimmage at 8 p.m.
Granbury will open the 2023 season at home against Carrollton Creekview on Friday, August 25 at 7 p.m. at Pirate Stadium.
