Pirate Football
Due to the excessive heat predicted for Thursday, September 7 and Friday, September 8, Granbury ISD Athletics has adjusted the start times for the 9th Gold, 9th Purple, and Varsity football game games.
On Thursday, the 9th Gold game against Mineral Wells will now start at 6:15 p.m. followed immediately by the 9th Purple against Waco High School at 7:15 p.m. Both games will be played at Pirate Stadium.
On Friday, the Varsity Homecoming game will now start at 7:30 p.m. The stadium gates will open to all spectators at 6:30 p.m. – one hour before kickoff. The game will also be played at Pirate Stadium.
Pirate and Lady Pirate Cross Country
Granbury Cross Country will no longer be attending the Hewitt Kiwanis Midway Invitational on Thursday, September 7. They will now be attending the Castleberry Invitational on Friday, September 8 at 7:30 a.m. This meet will be at Camp Carter in Fort Worth.
