Granbury JROTC Robotics Qualifies for State!

On December 2, 2023, two teams from Granbury High School JROTC participated in the VEX Robotics Harmony School of Innovation competition in Ft. Worth. Both teams did exceptionally well, making it to the finals. The team consisting of Zac Layland, Rhyan Obina, Renee Sermarini, and Marcus Hadaway secured the second position among all the competing teams and qualified for the UIL State Championship in February.

The team comprising Dalton Weddle, Braden Seaborn, and Matthew Wilson placed third in the competition.

LtCol Casey, the Senior Marine Instructor, expressed pride in the team's hard work and dedication since the last competition. They worked tirelessly on weekends and even during Thanksgiving break to prepare for the event.

The GHS MCJROTC Robotics team is all set to compete next in the Harmony Robotics Competition on December 16 at Wichita County - VRC Over Under.
