2024 GHS District Results
Granbury Pirate and Lady Pirate Swimming competed at the UIL District 5-5A Championships at Northwest ISD’s Natatorium on Friday, January 26. The Lady Pirates topped host Northwest for the District Title while the Pirates placed second as a team.
Granbury Swimming has 23 swimmers advancing to Regionals. The top 6 individuals from each event qualify to move on to the Regional Championship.
The Regional 2-5A Championship is February 9-10 at the Debbie Weems Natatorium in Mansfield ISD.
Granbury Swimming set 32 season-best times and 26 personal-best times. Braxton Heffernan also set the school record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.96.
