Congratulations to the Acton Middle School Varsity Treble Choir on their invitation to sing at the Texas Music Educators Association Conference! Their performance will be held at the San Antonio Convention Center the second week of February 2025. Over 30,000 people will attend the conference, which showcases the finest choirs, bands and orchestras in the State of Texas. The Varsity Treble Choir was chosen through a rigorous screening process that included submitting recordings from the past three years and evaluations by two professional listening panels. This is the first time a group from Acton Middle School has been chosen, and only the fourth group in GISD history.
