September Board Meeting Achievement Spotlights and Events

At Monday night’s monthly board meeting, the following were recognized with Achievement Spotlights along with notable events:

• Acton Elementary performed the Pledges at the meeting, let by Logan Byrd (third grade), Rowan Pinksa (3^rd), Paxton Anderson (3^rd), Colton Druzanovic (4^th) and Principal Maggie Walton. The students all have parents who are first responders and joined them in the group photo.
• Kinsley Lynch, a fifth grader at Acton Elementary School, who was a scholastic essay contest winner.
  
  
• Paola Lumbreras, an 8th grader at Acton Middle School, was invited to attend the Joint Science and Technology Institute this past summer in Maryland
