Granbury ISD is proud to announce that Houcine Chraibi, Assistant Director of Finance, has been named the Optimist of the Year by the Granbury Optimist Club. This prestigious award is presented annually to an individual who exemplifies outstanding dedication to community service, particularly in their work with youth. Houcine’s involvement with numerous projects that benefit students and families across Hood County has made a lasting impact, and his commitment to fostering positive opportunities for young people is truly commendable.
Houcine has played a key role in supporting youth programs through his leadership, volunteering, and commitment to the mission of the Optimist Club, which aims to "bring out the best in kids" by promoting a caring, supportive environment. From community service projects to educational initiatives, Houcine's efforts reflect the core values of the Optimist movement.
