Granbury ISD’s Customer Care awards were presented to STEAM Academy at Mambrino during Treats with Trustees on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Candice Jenkins and Jessie Greene were presented Customer Care Awards, a recognition award given to deserving employees. At the presentation, Mambrino Principal Melissa Shipp praised Candice and Jessie for their dedication to the district, campus, and to the students.
“This year Candice moved from kinder to 1st grade,” said Mambrino principal Melissa Shipp. “The transition has been seamless, and she has jumped into planning and being a part of her new team, as well as building relationships with her students. She has several students that she has had to make an individualized plan for this year and has taken it all in stride, showing empathy to her students’ needs. She is a valuable asset to our campus.”
“Jessie is the perfect example of a staff member that shows empathy to both her peers and the students that she serves,” Shipp added. “She loves Mambrino and her students and is always willing to do any job we ask her to do with a cheerful spirit. She knows how to look past educational need to meet the basic needs of our students first. We are so blessed to have her on our campus!”
