At the December 2024 board meeting, the following were recognized with Achievement Spotlights:
- Oak Woods School performed the Pledges at the meeting, let by student council members Ava Ansley, River Freeman, Kate Daniels, Avari Logsdon and Principal Chelsey Gibson.
- Granbury High School Junior Optimist members were recognized for their community service and volunteerism for Granbury ISD and the community. Officers: Lilly McCoy, Quinn King, Jocelyn Berry, Cristy Torres, Britney Bennett. Members: Wyatt Richeson and Eden Paschal. They were joined by Junior Optimist advisor Houcine Chraibi.
- Shottenkirk Senior of the Month was Wyatt Richeson, who was awarded a $500 scholarship.
