Granbury ISD is proud to announce its recognition as a Rising Star District by Capturing Kids’ Hearts, a prestigious designation that reflects the district's commitment to building strong relationships and character within our school communities.
Last school year, Acton Middle School (AMS), Granbury Middle School (GMS), and STARS Accelerated High School were honored as Rising Star campuses, setting the tone for excellence in creating positive, relational environments. This year, all GISD elementary campuses were each named Rising Star campuses—an incredible accomplishment that led to GISD’s overall designation as a Rising Star District. This includes Acton Elementary, Baccus Elementary, Brawner Elementary, STEAM Academy at Mambrino, Oak Woods School, and Emma Roberson Early Learning Academy.
