Returning Student Registration

Returning student registration opens online July 21, 2025. The online registration process is completed in Skyward Family Access and must be done using a web browser or desktop computer.

Returning Families

If you are a current Granbury ISD family whose student is already enrolled in a Granbury ISD school and returning this year, Skyward automatically enrolls your child to the next grade level at the appropriate campus*, but you must complete the returning student registration in Skyward Family Access.

*Incoming kindergarten students who attended prekindergarten at Emma Roberson Early Learning Academy are automatically enrolled at the campus for which the student's family is zoned to attend.

Kindergarten and PreK Round Up

Granbury ISD's elementary campuses are hosting a summer Kindergarten and Pre-K Roundup for the 2025-26 school year on Wednesday, July 23 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m! Kindergarten Roundup will take place at the campus for which your student is zoned to attend.

Roundup provides parents with the opportunity to enroll their student in-person into Kindergarten & Pre-K at Granbury ISD with the help of on-campus staff and to ask additional questions.

All parents should bring:

• Copy of your Child’s Birth Certificate

• Shot Records

• Child’s Social Security Card

• Proof of Residence

• Driver’s License

• Proof of Income (Pre-K only)

In-Person Spanish Language Assistance for Current/Returning Families

Granbury ISD will be offering translation assistance onsite on Thursday, July 31 for Spanish speaking families to complete online registration for your student(s). GISD employees will be available to assist. Families needing registration assistance can visit your student's zoned campus.

Please bring a valid picture ID and proof of residency.
Proof of residency examples: most recent/current utility bill, current rental agreement, or current lease agreement.
