Applicants must complete substitute teacher training.

Either a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required for employment. Copies of the diploma or GED are required if a college transcript is not provided.

Applicants must be at least 22 years of age for middle and high school assignments and 18-21 years of age for elementary only.
- Applicants must provide legal proof of authorization to work in the United States.

Applicants must consent to and pass a Criminal History Investigation.

College graduates must provide copies of college transcripts that indicate degree earned and date awarded.
