Shelly Curtsinger became the director of special programs in April 2021.
Curtsinger began her educational career in 1987. She taught for several years at the middle school, high school, and college level before becoming an educational diagnostician in 2003 for the Irving school district, where she worked for three years. Curtsinger came to Granbury ISD in 2006 as a diagnostician and later became the special education coordinator in 2016.
The special programs director holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Dallas and a Master of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Arlington.
