Granbury ISD’s Customer Care Team presented recognition awards at Emma Roberson Early Learning Academy during a morning ceremony on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

Markell Jinkerson, Francis Uribe, and Karen Call were presented the Customer Care Award, a recognition award given to a deserving employee. At the presentation, Emma Roberson Principal Kellie Lambert praised all three for their dedication to the district and to the students.

The district thanks Braces on the Brazos Orthodontics, Cheerful Heart, and Ulta for the gift cards presented to the recognition award recipients.

January 10, 2024

Granbury ISD’s Customer Care Team presented recognition awards at Granbury Middle School during a staff meeting on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Angela Leisure was awarded the Customer Care Award for her dedication and true servant leadership for her students. She consistently helps students see their greatest possibilities and provide guidance and support to help them reach their goals.

Christi Schreiber was awarded our Super Fan Award. She goes above and beyond to help GMS students, staff, and volunteers to feel valued and supported. Most days she can be found on campus working on upcoming student activities, selling at the Pirate Store, setting up goodies in the teacher lounge or just checking in to make sure we all feel seen.

GMS Customer Care Award 2024

January 22, 2024.

Granbury ISD’s Customer Care Team presented recognition awards at Oak Woods School on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Chelsey Pinksa was awarded the Customer Care Award. “Chelsey has a heart of gold and a gentle spirit,” OWS Principal Chelsey Gibson said. “She is always looking for ways to serve and take care of our teachers. Each month she plans, leads, and sets up all the many ways to show love and support for our teachers. If you need something in a pinch, she’s there to help and organize. She leads the Stonewater Serves team for Oak Woods and has done a wonderful job with this group.”

Blake Marion was awarded our Super Fan Award. “Blake is always talking great about OWS, whether he is here in the building or out in the community, he speaks very highly of our school,” Gibson said. “You can often find Blake out front helping to open car doors and greet our students in the morning. He is very involved in other GISD committees and groups that serve our students and staff.”

OWS Customer Care 2024

January 25, 2024.

Granbury ISD’s Customer Care Team presented recognition awards at Acton Elementary School on Thursday, January 25, 2024.

Haley Briggs was awarded our Customer Care award. “Haley's attention to detail, the creativity and out-of-the-box thinking that she provides in all situations, and the energy and passion she brings to our school are unmatched,” Maggie Walton, AES Principal, said. “She is a gifted encourager and relationship builder and is intentional about lifting up the incredible work of our students and staff. She leads by example and is a true servant to Acton Elementary in her role as Instruction and Intervention Specialist.”

Chaney Cockrell was awarded our Super Fan award. “Chaney goes above and beyond to support the mission and vision of Acton Elementary,” Walton said. “She currently serves as our PTO president but has served in a variety of capacities over the last 10 years. She works behind the scenes to make sure our staff has what we need to create meaningful experiences for our students. The amount of support she provides is overwhelming. Chaney is a champion for our Acton Elementary staff, students, and families!”

Granbury ISD’s Customer Care Team presented recognition awards at Baccus Elementary during morning announcements on Tuesday, February 6, 2024

Dawn Buhrmann and Sam King were presented the Customer Care and Super Fan Awards, a recognition award given to a deserving employee and campus supporter. At the presentation, Baccus Principal Julie Rohleder praised both for their dedication to the district and to the students.

The district thanks Cheerful Heart and the Granbury Opera House for the gift cards presented to the recognition award recipients.

Granbury ISD’s Customer Care Team presented recognition awards for the Custodial Staff at the Administration Building on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

Randy Hoyt and Chassidy Olson were presented Customer Care Awards, a recognition award given to a deserving employee. At the presentation, Director of Support Services Bryan Johnson praised both for their work ethic and dedication to the district.

Granbury ISD’s Customer Care Team presented recognition awards at the STEAM Academy at Mambrino on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

 

Michael Blackwell was awarded our Customer Care award. “Michael joined our team during the second six weeks this school year as a Special Education Paraprofessional,” said STEAM Academy at Mambrino Principal Melissa Shipp said. “He was new to education and working in a school, having previously worked in other industries. He jumped right in, spent time getting to know our students, and has done anything we have asking him to do with a smile. He has helped us with some of our hardest students and has loved them well, even when the situation is not always easy. We are so thankful that Michael loves Mambrino not only as a parent, but an employee.”

 

Josh Lane was awarded our Super Fan award. “At the start of the school year, we had several parent complaints about the dropoff line and the safety of those that have to turn in and out of our school onto Mambrino Highway,” Shipp said. “We made a call to the sheriff’s department to see if we could get an officer there to help. We had a couple of people that came and helped the first few weeks. Mr. Lane has continued to come and usually is there daily, helping our students get to school safely. We are so grateful for his help and giant heart for Mambrino and our students.”

Granbury ISD’s Customer Care Team presented recognition awards from Child Nutrition at Granbury High School on Friday, February 23, 2024.

 

Alicia Noyes was awarded our Customer Care award. “Alicia is responsible for communicating with the café managers on their orders, inventory, and food budget,” said Amy Whiteley, Director of Child Nutrition. “She provides them with great customer service by ensuring they stay on track with what needs ordered and what they can spend. She also goes out to campuses to assists with inventory and training new managers. Alicia played an instrumental role in helping Granbury ISD win the USDA Food Challenge last year.”

 

Kylee Peterson was awarded our Super Fan award. “Kylee helped Child Nutrition bring our coffee bar vision to life by decorating and writing out the menu board and making it look beautiful – and she did it for free! We so appreciate her artistic abilities and helping Child Nutrition’s coffee bar excel,” Whiteley said.

Kim Allec (Curriculum) and Paden Lovins (Technology) were presented Customer Care Awards, a recognition award given to a deserving employee. At the presentation, Director of Curriculum Stacie Brown and Director of Technology Brent Wilson praised both for their work ethic and dedication to the district.

Nikki Pierce was presented the Customer Care Award and Jonna Eccles was presented the Super Fan Award, which are recognition awards given to deserving employees and supporters of Granbury ISD that go above and beyond. At the presentation, STARS Principal Margaret Rodriquez praised Pierce and Eccles for their work ethic, customer service and dedication to the students and staff at STARS.

Granbury ISD’s Customer Care Team presented recognition awards at Brawner Elementary on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

 

Kay Loftin was presented the Customer Care Award and Lilli Hyde was presented the Super Fan Award, which are recognition awards given to deserving employees and supporters of Granbury ISD that go above and beyond. At the presentation, Brawner Principal Sandy Ruiz praised Kay and Lilli for their work ethic, service and dedication to the students and staff at Brawner.

 

“Mrs. Loftin has an infectious positivity and genuine care for each and every one of us,” Ruiz said. “Her warm smile and sweet laugh light up the halls of our school. She brightens even the hardest of days with her hugs. Mrs. Loftin’s unwavering dedication to our students and Brawner is truly inspiring.”

 

“Lilli exemplifies what it means to be a role model and mentor to our students,” added Ruiz. “She has a passion for education and a genuine care for others. But it’s not just her time in the classroom that sets Lilli apart; it’s her heartwarming love for our students that truly makes her stand out.”
