Thank you for reaching out to Granbury ISD regarding your book proposal. 

The new House Bill 900 and newly adopted Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) selection guidelines require any books collected for school libraries must be favorably reviewed in at least one of these journals (Booklist, Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books, Horn Book, School Library Connection, School Library Journal, Kirkus, and Voice of Youth Advocates) as well as include an informal review. We will be glad to discuss this further If your book meets these guidelines.
